Multimedia Journalist (MMJ)

Responsibilities

• Reporting, shooting and editing news stories
• Developing and entering story ideas
• Maintaining contacts within the industry
• Producing content across multiple platforms including internet, social media, and mobile devices
• Contributing to television broadcasts

Skills and Experience

• Sharp news judgment
• The ability to tell an NPPA style story
• Excellent technical skills
• The ability to work independently

Requirements and Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year reporting experience is required
• Experience with live shots is required
• Experience with Live-U is a plus

Pay

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $17.50 to $18.73 per hour.
