About the role

We’re seeking a Multimedia Environmental Compliance Consultant to ensure environmental regulatory compliance. This role combines deep environmental compliance expertise with the ability to develop permits, reports, training, audits, and regulatory reporting. The consultant will operate as a strategic advisor, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve compliance outcomes and strengthen environmental awareness across the client organization.

You’ll serve as a technical specialist and lead for multimedia Environmental Compliance. Based out of our Las Vegas, NV office, you’ll collaborate with local and global experts to ensure Jacobs provides best practice solutions to our clients. You’ll prepare and deliver high-quality reports and presentations to clients’ technical and senior leadership in accordance with Jacobs’ quality process.

You'll apply your technical experience to develop delivery strategies and client relationships while championing safety, quality, and the well-being of your team. You’ll master and promote Jacobs’ solutions and technologies to internal and external stakeholders. This position may require travel to client sites (up to 25%) as well as attendance at client or team workshops or presentations. The role is predominantly office-based, but periodic field assignments may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop environmental permits, reports, training, audits, and regulatory reporting
  • Act as a strategic advisor to improve compliance outcomes and strengthen environmental awareness
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality reports and presentations to clients’ technical and senior leadership
  • Develop delivery strategies and client relationships while promoting safety, quality, and team well-being
  • Champion Jacobs’ solutions and technologies to internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent clients to stakeholders, including regulatory agencies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or other closely related technical degree
  • Professional environmental compliance project experience, including permitting, monitoring, and reporting (preferably in consulting)
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous development and active engagement in professional networks or communities of practice
  • Experience with direct client interaction
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven organizational, interpersonal, negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Experience with small, medium, or large-scale client environmental consulting projects
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations and regulatory processes
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • US citizenship

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Master’s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or other closely related technical degree
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or ability to obtain and maintain

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $69,500.00 to $95,500.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
