When it comes to environmental consulting, we’re focused on cleaning up our communities today to improve tomorrow. We’re seeking a Multimedia Environmental Compliance Consultant to ensure environmental regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure environmental regulatory compliance through permit, report, training, audit, and reporting development.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve compliance outcomes and enhance environmental awareness within the client organization.
- Lead as a technical specialist, delivering high-quality reports and presentations to clients' technical and senior leadership.
- Develop and implement delivery strategies, manage client relationships, and champion safety, quality, and team well-being.
- Promote Jacobs’ solutions and technologies to internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel to client sites and attend workshops or presentations as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or other closely related technical degree.
- Professional environmental compliance project experience, including permitting, monitoring, and reporting (preferably in consulting).
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous development and active engagement in professional networks, company communities of practice groups, or similar.
- Experience with direct client interaction.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with clients, contractors, and teammates.
- Proven organizational, interpersonal, negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Experience with small, medium, or large-scale client environmental consulting projects and representing clients to stakeholders including regulatory agencies.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations and regulatory processes.
- Master’s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or other closely related technical degree.
- Professional Engineer or Project Management Professional (PE or PMP) or ability to obtain and maintain.
Qualifications
- Ability to travel up to 25%.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
