When it comes to environmental consulting, we’re focused on cleaning up our communities today to improve tomorrow. We’re seeking a Multimedia Environmental Compliance Consultant to ensure environmental regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure environmental regulatory compliance by developing permits, reports, training, audits, and regulatory reporting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve compliance outcomes and strengthen environmental awareness across the client organization.
  • Lead as a technical specialist, serving as a strategic advisor to develop delivery strategies and client relationships.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality reports and presentations to clients' technical and senior leadership in accordance with Jacobs' quality process.
  • Apply technical experience to develop delivery strategies and represent clients to stakeholders including regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain familiarity with state and federal regulations and regulatory processes.
  • Travel to client sites and attend client or team workshops or presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or other closely related technical degree.
  • Professional environmental compliance project experience, including permitting, monitoring, and reporting (preferably in consulting).
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous development and active engagement in professional networks, company communities of practice groups or similar.
  • Experience with direct client interaction.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with clients, contractors, and teammates.
  • Proven organizational, interpersonal, negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with small, medium, or large-scale client environmental consulting projects and representing clients to stakeholders including regulatory agencies.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations and regulatory processes.
  • Up to 25% travel within the US.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or other closely related technical degree.
  • Professional Engineer or Project Management Professional (PE or PMP) or ability to obtain and maintain.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $126,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

This position will be predominantly office based, but periodic field assignments may be required.
