Environmental Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and technically-oriented Environmental Consultant to support environmental assessment, testing and consulting projects. This role will combine field inspections, data analysis, regulatory compliance and client interaction to ensure safe, compliant and efficient project outcomes. The Environmental Consultant will be a proactive problem solver with strong technical knowledge of environmental regulations, experience in field investigations and be adept at translating complex data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, environmental assessments and field sampling
• Perform or support asbestos, lead, mold and indoor air quality testing
• Utilize moisture mapping and other diagnostic technologies to identify environmental risks
• Document site conditions; and ensure accurate data collection
• Analyze lab results and field data to identify environmental risks or compliance issues
• Prepare detailed technical reports, risk assessments and remediation recommendations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
• Experience in environmental consulting, field investigation, and environmental testing
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards
• Proven technical report writing skills
• Ability to design abatement projects (preferred)
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification (preferred)

Pay & Benefits

• Base Salary: $80K-$90K
• Bonus: approx. $30K-$40K
