About the role

The Environmental Services Consultant ensures that all assigned properties, including ancillary office buildings, pharmacies, corporate assets, and healthcare centers, are clean, well-maintained, operationally ready, and compliant with applicable State, Federal, and PruittHealth standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines from State and Federal agencies and PruittHealth.
  • Create work schedules for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly visits to assigned locations, aiming for at least 80% field time per week.
  • Complete Environmental Services Consultant checklists, assessments, and property condition reviews, creating Work Orders in TELS for facility maintenance directors, property contacts, or team members to complete.
  • Maintain usage of the building maintenance electronic platform (TELS) and promote its use for environmental services, maintenance, and property support requests.
  • Coordinate with property management, pharmacy leadership, corporate department leaders, facility administrators, AVPs, and Environmental Services leadership to address recurring maintenance, housekeeping, safety, and presentation issues.
  • Report environmental, maintenance, property condition, and operational readiness issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and modify written procedures, inspection standards, checklists, and escalation processes for the Environmental Services Division, including specific standards for ancillary office buildings, pharmacies, corporate assets, and property locations.
  • Communicate with Administrators, AVPs, property leadership, pharmacy leadership, VP, and other leaders about capital equipment needs, repair priorities, presentation improvements, vendor needs, and operational readiness items.
  • Avoid unsafe conditions by following procedures and reporting them to supervisors, property contacts, or leadership representatives.
  • Support the environmental services and property readiness needs of new locations, acquisitions, relocations, office openings, pharmacy locations, and other assigned assets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years’ experience in a physical plant operation.
  • 2 years supervisory experience in housekeeping, laundry, or maintenance departments.

Qualifications

  • Vocational training in a skilled trade or other related technical training preferred.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance practices.
  • Experience with cleaning materials and laundry chemicals/formulas.
  • Knowledge of Federal, state, and Pruitt policies and regulations involving fire, safety, and sanitation.
  • Experience with building maintenance software platform (TELS) preferred.
  • Basic Microsoft office capability.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions and correspondence.
