About the Role

The successful candidate will manage relationships with local and regional businesses, prospect, qualify, and secure new business through networking, cold calling, referrals and client meetings. They will conduct needs analysis, manage CRM pipeline, and ensure accurate forecasting. They will sell advertising solutions across broadcast, digital, and events, drive digital revenue through Cumulus digital assets, develop effective multi-platform, integrated sales presentations, and negotiate and close deals. They will meet and exceed annual sales quotas through proactive engagement, deliver compelling presentations demonstrating multimedia solutions for client goals, apply consultative selling techniques to meet client objectives and maximize cross-channel opportunities, and strategically plan and implement initiatives to meet personal, company and corporate directives.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully manages relationships with local and regional businesses
  • Prospect, qualify, and secure new business through networking, cold calling, referrals and client meetings
  • Conduct needs analysis, manage CRM pipeline, and ensure accurate forecasting
  • Sell advertising solutions across broadcast, digital, and events
  • Drive digital revenue through Cumulus digital assets (including streaming, web, social marketing services)
  • Develop effective multi-platform, integrated sales presentations; ability to negotiate and close deals
  • Meet and exceed annual sales quotas through proactive engagement
  • Deliver compelling presentations demonstrating multimedia solutions for client goals
  • Apply consultative selling techniques to meet client objectives and maximize cross-channel opportunities
  • Strategically plan and implement initiatives to meet personal, company and corporate directives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or related field is preferred
  • 1-2 years media sales preferred
  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising, including programmatic, social, and mobile
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay

The monthly pay range listed above reflects your guaranteed income during your first year, with additional opportunities to earn commissions.
