Multifamily Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and controllers.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance workspaces and storage areas.
• Effectively communicate with the Property Management team with work order updates, changes, or any property-related issues.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with all building codes and regulations.
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process trainings.
• Attend and participate in daily/weekly meetings with the team.

Requirements

• Must be jack of all trades (light plumbing, light electrical, carpentry etc).
• You will be interacting with the residents living in the homes, so you must have excellent communication skills.
• Good with technology - usage of IPhone Applications, G-Suite and related communication tools such as Slack.
• Valid Driver’s License (Required).
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds (Required).
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
