Multifamily Maintenance Technician

About the role

Maintenance Technician performs a variety of work in the general maintenance areas of multifamily property management, including apartment turnover, work orders, grounds, and other duties as assigned. The role is based at a home property and supports regional properties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry, electric, plumbing, interior/exterior janitorial
• HVAC, interior/exterior building maintenance, drywall, painting
• Appliance service and installation
• Snow removal, landscaping, pest control, and pool maintenance
• Perform heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Work indoors and outdoors year-round
• Climb stairs and ladders; walk, crawl, sit, stand, squat, bend, and twist
• Safely and properly use and operate tools, vehicles, and machinery
• Participate in an "on-call" rotation, which may require after-hours travel to properties
• Exhibit a positive attitude, teamwork, customer service, and commitment
• Demonstrate proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented behavior
• Maintain proper attire and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Adhere to safety procedures and training
• Communicate effectively in writing and orally
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
