Description

The Multifamily Construction Superintendent will:

  • Manage the job site from project inception through completion
  • Coordinate and communicate regularly with subcontractors regarding project progress, schedules, changes, and material deliveries
  • Proactively identify design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project-specific issues
  • Lead daily field operations and ensure construction activities remain on schedule
  • Enforce safety protocols to ensure the job site consistently meets or exceeds OSHA standards
  • Maintain project documentation including daily reports, change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal logs
  • Conduct subcontractor meetings and coordinate all field activities
  • Monitor quality control and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications
  • Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local building requirements
  • Communicate effectively with owners, project managers, architects, engineers, and fellow superintendents to ensure project success
  • Assist in resolving field issues while maintaining project schedule and budget objectives

Profile

The Multifamily Construction Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of construction superintendent experience with a General Contractor
  • Experience building ground-up multifamily projects valued at $10 million or greater
  • Experience managing apartments, mixed-use, student housing, hospitality, or senior living projects preferred
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading projects and managing large subcontractor teams
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, safety, and quality control
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
