About the role
UrbanCore Construction is a mission-driven company focused on providing affordable housing to help address the housing crisis in the community. We are expanding our team and are seeking a Multifamily Construction Superintendent to oversee large multi-family new construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the team to ensure the project plan is clear, expectations are understood, and everyone works together efficiently.
- Train the next generation of leaders by mentoring Assistant Superintendents.
- Oversee the job from start to finish, ensuring the project stays on schedule.
- Ensure safety standards are met and be prepared for OSHA inspections.
- Promote UrbanCore values and culture to all involved parties, including trade partners, team members, owners, and inspectors.
- Maintain a firm grasp of every project detail, including plans, submittals, sequencing, and documentation.
Requirements
- No more than 5 years of construction experience.
- Preferred software competencies: Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with interpreting site plans.
- Experience maintaining accurate project documentation.
- Knowledge of safety standards to maintain project safety.
- Experience with site management and leading projects.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and train team members and trade partners.
- Experience creating look-ahead schedules and closeouts.

- Annual salary of $100,000 - $135,000 per year, plus a bonus.
