Multi-Tenant Data Center (MTDC) Facilities Account Manager - Central, Northeast & Southeast Region
The Multi-Tenant Data Center (MTDC) Regional Facilities Account Manager – Central, Northeast & Southeast Region is a home-based position requiring candidates to reside within 50 miles of one of these locations: Beachwood, OH; Charlotte, NC; Glendale Heights, IL; Moon Township, PA; Nashville, TN; Smyrna, GA or Westerville, OH.
About the Role
As the MTDC Regional Facilities Account Manager, you will be part of the MTDC strategic account sales team focusing on large sites in the assigned geography. Your responsibilities include managing account relationships, developing tailored value propositions, and building relationships with purchasing, construction, and operations teams at individual data center sites. You will also work with Eaton’s service organizations to generate recurring revenue and actively participate in pipeline review meetings.
Responsibilities
- Call on key decision makers at assigned accounts
- Manage account relationships involving account resources at decision-making levels
- Ensure Eaton is positioned to win profitable business and meet revenue quotas
- Develop and execute sales plans for assigned accounts
- Build relationships with purchasing, construction, and operations at individual data center sites
- Work with Eaton service organizations for opportunities for recurring revenue
- Utilize Salesforce to develop and update an opportunity pipeline for assigned accounts
- Participate in weekly pipeline review meetings to ensure acceptable pipeline growth and follow up
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum seven (7) years of electrical industry experience
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- MBA or post-graduate degree preferred
- Eight (8) + years of direct sales/account management experience preferred
- Technical understanding of electrical field service applications preferred
- Experience with manufacturers’ technical field service organization preferred
- Two (2) + years of experience in strategic marketing preferred
- Three (3) years of experience in sales management preferred
- Technical and commercial understanding of low voltage switchboards, medium voltage switchgear, medium voltage transformers, large UPS, PDU & STS preferred
- Exposure working in target data center segment or with target client(s) preferred
