Position Overview

As the Multi-Tenant Data Center (MTDC) Regional Facilities Account Manager, you will be an integral part of the MTDC strategic account sales team focused on large sites in the assigned geography. The account responsibility includes a select number of strategic clients with data center facilities with large install-based presence. As a member of the MTDC Sales Team, you will lead all sales efforts for assigned MTDC facilities accounts for both product and service.

Qualifications Required (Basic)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum seven (7) years of electrical industry experience
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position
  • Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH; Charlotte, NC; Glendale Heights, IL; Moon Township, PA; Nashville, TN; Smyrna, GA or Westerville, OH will be considered
  • Possess a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or post-graduate degree
  • Eight (8) + years of direct sales/account management experience
  • Technical understanding of electrical field service applications
  • Experience with manufacturers technical field service organization
  • Two (2) + years of experience in strategic marketing
  • Three (3) years of experience in sales management
  • Technical and commercial understanding of low voltage switchboards, medium voltage switchgear, medium voltage transformers, large UPS, PDU & STS
  • Exposure working in target data center segment or with target client(s)

  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • Robust presentation and planning skills
  • Attentive to detail
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (closer to 40% & much of it is driving)

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $143,250 - $210,100. Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
