About the role

The role is located in Harrisburg, PA with a multi-specialty territory covering Johnstown, Altoona, Harrisburg, and Hanover. Candidates must live within 40 miles of the territory boundaries and have access to a major airport.

Responsibilities

  • Use digital tools and data to create opportunities, develop strategy, allocate resources, and monitor progress to enhance sales execution.
  • Deliver clear and compelling messages to customers, probe customer needs, handle objections, and close calls with commitments to drive changes in behavior.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships internally and externally, incorporating total office account management where applicable.
  • Gather and validate market trends, map account linkages, and apply comprehensive therapeutic knowledge to uncover and prioritize unique opportunities.
  • Stay informed on reimbursement dynamics, anticipate and address payer access issues, and utilize Lundbeck resources.
  • Apply knowledge of the pharmaceutical and regulatory environment, including adherence to Lundbeck policies and FDA regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 2-5 years of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, or medical device sales experience.
  • Must demonstrate high scores on disease and product training exams and be certified on product knowledge annually.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, tenacity, and excellent communication skills.
  • Adaptability, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
  • Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
  • Driving is an essential duty of this job; must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move items up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Skills

  • Recent successful experience selling to general practitioners (GPs) and primary care centers.
  • Prior experience promoting and detailing products specific to CNS/neuroscience.
  • Previous experience working with alliance partners (co-promotions).
