About the role
Ace Handyman Services Lakeland is seeking a Multi-skilled Drywaller to join our team. We are a top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling company based in Lakeland, serving homes and businesses in Polk County.
Responsibilities
- Work out of your home on a full-time or part-time basis.
- Travel to job sites in Lakeland and nearby areas using your own truck or van (or company vehicle).
- Provide quality craftsmanship and customer service for all repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects.
- Potential income ranging from $20 to $25 per hour.
- Receive health insurance, company vehicle, vacation, performance bonuses, vehicle and tool allowance, company credit card, flexible scheduling, advancement and growth opportunities, and consistent year-round work.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and professional appearance/demeanor.
- Good overall knowledge of all trades including Drywalling, Tiling, Painting, Plumbing, Carpentry, and Electrical.
- Excellent customer service skills, including communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks.
- Own standard set of tools to perform all trades.
- Valid driver's license.
- Troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and invoicing skills.
- Project estimating skills.
- Background check required.
Qualifications
- Successful prior track record as a Drywaller/Craftsman.
- Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks.
- Own standard set of tools to perform all trades.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and invoicing skills.
- Project estimating skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check.
