PURPOSE OF POSITION
A Multi-Site Therapist at Catholic Charities obtains information about participants through interview, case history, and observational techniques. Conducts counseling or therapeutic treatments, develops treatment plans, monitors progress, and documents contacts and progress.
Requirements
- Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of methods of psychotherapy.
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately.
- Familiarity with the DSM V; ICD-10 and diagnostic techniques.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed care principles/practices.
- Ability to establish rapport with participants.
- Flexible and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires knowledge of computers to input data, write communications, and generate reports.
- Demonstrate skills and sensitivity to the cultural/linguistic differences of staff, participants, and community.
- Knowledge of the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and appropriate techniques and practices for the participant population.
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and with a diverse participant base.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of three years’ experience in clinical social work or related field.
- Experience with working with moderate to severe and persistently mentally ill populations.
- Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or similar field.
- Current license as a L/CSW; LPCC; MFT in the State of Colorado.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- License eligible master’s degree in social work, professional counseling, or marriage & family therapy.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $65,000-$75,000 per year.
