Multi-Site Safety Associate

Description

The Multi-Site Safety Associate will serve as a shared safety resource for multiple Solution Centers, supporting the implementation of the SWPS Annual Safety and Health Strategy to achieve a Zero Incident Culture. This role involves investigating accidents and injuries, promoting a proactive safety culture, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• At least 3 or more years of experience in an employee safety focused position in a multi-site and multi-state environment.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, light industrial / manufacturing environment preferred.
• Attention to detail and capability to analyze data and make sound conclusions.
• Strong aptitude for organization, prioritization and managing multiple tasks at the same time.
• Strong communication (written and verbal)/training/presentation skills.
• Computer proficiency required (Microsoft Suite, BGS).

Physical Requirements

• Position requires regular keyboarding, sitting, standing, and walking.
• Work is performed in both an office environment and warehouse floor where incumbent may be exposed to environmental hazards.
• Use of proper personal protection equipment is required depending on the location and potential hazards including safety shoes, safety vest, gloves, safety glasses.
• Approximately 25% to 30% domestic travel required to company sites.
