Multi-Site Maintenance Technician (59279 & 59280)

About the role

Multi-site maintenance work in Los Angeles asks more of a technician than single-property work does. You'll split your time between two communities — Magnolia on Lake (46 units) and Chancellor Apartments (101 units) — managing your own schedule across locations and staying on top of work orders at both sites without letting either one slip.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders on time
• Turn units within five days of move‑out
• Stay ahead of systems issues before residents notice them
• Perform electrical repairs, plumbing, HVAC maintenance, and painting of interior and exterior surfaces
• Maintain locks, doors, and closers in functional condition
• Handle compliance documentation for fire extinguishers, suppression systems, and building alarms

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Pay

$25–$26 per hour.

Requirements

• At least one year of hands‑on maintenance technician experience
• Solid working knowledge of general maintenance processes across electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Comfort with tools, common appliances, and manual repair work
• Strong time‑management skills to handle two sets of deadlines simultaneously
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certifications (HVAC, CMRP, or similar) are valued

Skills

• Self‑directed work ethic – ability to prioritize work orders, communicate across sites, and make independent judgment calls
• Skill to walk a property, identify deferred issues before they become emergency calls, and complete documentation accurately
• HVAC certification is a differentiator in Southern California due to year‑round cooling demand
