About the role
Mental Health Resource Center, Inc. (MHRC) is a nonprofit organization providing a broad spectrum of behavioral health and social services, including 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services, and various community-based programs. MHRC operates eight Florida Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) programs and a FACT Lite program in Jacksonville.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and services reflecting core values of compassion, integrity, and excellence.
- Manage a wide range of behavioral health and social services, including medication management, case management, counseling, and psychosocial rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
- Engage in community outreach and advocacy initiatives.
Requirements
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in behavioral health or related field.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Pass background screening and clearance through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Current licensure/certification in relevant field (e.g., LCSW, LSW).
- Experience working with diverse populations.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of community resources and services.
