Multi-Site Assistant Maintenance Manager - $3,500 Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, modeling standards and behaviors consistent with Bozzuto’s core values and culture.
• Show care and concern for residents through timely follow‑ups and meticulous completion of apartment service tickets.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Manage the make‑ready and apartment turnover process with attention to detail and timeliness.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs to preserve building value.
• Maintain building beauty and community safety through general upkeep, cleanliness, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
• Sustain peak efficiency of all property components.
• Adhere to applicable building, county, and safety codes/standards while running an accident‑free operation.
• Work weekends and participate in the emergency on‑call rotation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in trades, facilities, and/or residential building maintenance.
• Strong leadership aptitude; supervisory experience preferred.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA, and MSDS.
• Proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical trades, and appliance repair.
• Basic carpentry, drywall, and painting skills.
• Exposure to complex mechanical systems such as central plant, split systems, boilers, and chillers (desired).
• Safety mindset and eye for detail.
• Builder’s mentality – “know it like you built it.”
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using various technology platforms, apps, and computer programs.
• Availability for emergency situations, including on‑call rotation.
• Physical ability to exert 25–50 lb frequently or 10–20 lb constantly, climb stairs, use ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.

Pay

Salary Range: $31.97 — $33 USD (eligible for additional bonus opportunities).
