The Save Mart Companies is currently recruiting for the position of Multi-Purpose Clerk - Grocery (Night Crew). Located at 94 Belle Mill Landing, Red Bluff, CA 96080, this role involves a variety of clerical tasks, including stocking shelves, pricing items, and handling deliveries. Key responsibilities include:

1. Receive, stock, display, and price products.
2. Break down loads, unwrap, rotate, and pack boxes.
3. Order writing and ensuring item to tag integrity.
4. Report all risks or safety issues to management.
5. Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers.
6. Maintain inventory accuracy.
7. Sweep and mop sales floors, front ends, back rooms, and refrigerated areas.
8. Operate tools such as step stools, carts, registers, safety cutters, rolling ladders, food preparation equipment, ovens, warmers, food mixers, meat cutting instruments, various carts, packaging components, and cleaning supplies.

Physical demands include standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, lifting up to 85 lbs occasionally, carrying up to 80 lbs frequently, and operating motor vehicles occasionally.

Qualifications include:

• Read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Strong team player willing to learn and work hard.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs without assistance and up to 85 lbs occasionally.
• At least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of MSDS binders and materials used.
• Ability to operate forklifts and commercial balers if authorized and certified.
