Multi-Practice Veterinarian, Medical Director
About the role
Partnering with the practice manager and leadership team, you'll develop strategies, implement improvements, and guide our hospitals towards excellence in patient and client care, while supporting staff development across both locations.

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
Qualifications
- Experience in veterinary medicine.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop veterinarians.
- Knowledge of hospital operations and procedures.

Schedule
Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital and Fountain View Animal Hospital are open Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 6:00pm, Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm.
Pay
The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a full time range from $170k to $190k annually prior to production. Thrive provides a Medical Director Stipend, quarterly production, and no negative accrual.
