Multi-Office- IP Litigation Associate

About the role

The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical/computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent professional experience. USPTO registration is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients before district courts, the International Trade Commission, and/or before the USPTO in PTAB proceedings.
  • Work on a variety of complex intellectual property cases, including patent infringement, invalidity, and validity challenges.
  • Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop and implement litigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present evidence and arguments in court and before administrative bodies.
  • Manage client relationships and provide strategic advice on IP matters.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience as a seasoned patent litigator.
  • A degree in electrical/computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • USPTO registration is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

  • Admission to the state bar of the preferred office location.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with patent law and litigation procedures.
