Compensation & Incentives
- Sign-on bonus: $10,000
- Relocation assistance: Up to $5,000 for eligible candidates
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in both X-ray and CT modalities.
- Provide exceptional patient care while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
- Explain imaging procedures clearly to patients and answer questions to promote understanding and cooperation.
- Verify patient information and ensure appropriate preparation prior to examinations.
- Operate X-ray and CT equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with departmental protocols.
- Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
- Maintain competency in all assigned imaging procedures and equipment.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and best practices to minimize patient and staff exposure.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Required 2 years minimum experience in diagnostic imaging & CT.
- PREFERRED: Experience in emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic exams in both modalities.
- MUST BE ABLE TO PRODUCE VERY HIGH-QUALITY SPECIAL IMAGING WITH LITTLE SUPERVISION.
- MUST BE ABLE TO FUNCTION EFFECTIVELY IN A TEAM-ORIENTED ENVIRONMENT.
- MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH AGE SPECIFIC CRITERIA.
Qualifications
- Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) & South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
- MUST BE REGISTERED IN BOTH RADIOGRAPHY (ARRT) (R) & COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (ARRT) (C).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
