Multi-Modality Technologist (X-Ray/CT) – Full Time Nights

Compensation & Incentives

  • $10,000 sign-on bonus

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in both X-ray and CT modalities.
  • Provide exceptional patient care while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
  • Explain imaging procedures clearly to patients and answer questions to promote understanding and cooperation.
  • Verify patient information and ensure appropriate preparation prior to examinations.
  • Operate X-ray and CT equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
  • Maintain competency in all assigned imaging procedures and equipment.
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and best practices to minimize patient and staff exposure.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Required 2 years minimum experience in diagnostic imaging & CT.
  • PREFERRED: Experience in emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic exams in both modalities.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO PRODUCE VERY HIGH-QUALITY SPECIAL IMAGING WITH LITTLE SUPERVISION.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO FUNCTION EFFECTIVELY IN A TEAM-ORIENTED ENVIRONMENT.
  • MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH AGE SPECIFIC CRITERIA.
  • Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) & South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
  • Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) & Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.

Qualifications

  • Must have current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Must have current registration with the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
  • Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
