About the role

Responsibilities
- Reviews patient history and physician’s orders.
- Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
- Maintains patient condition and reports/responds to changes in status.
- Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.
- Analyzes results and takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues.
- Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
Requirements
- Current state Radiologic Technologist license.
- Approved course in Radiologic Technology degree.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- Two years of hospital training in Radiologic Technologist program.
- Experience in other x-ray departments, clinics, or medical offices.
- ARRT membership or registry eligibility and maintenance.
- Membership in national, state, or local societies.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Stress management and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
- Current state Radiologic Technologist license.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- ARRT membership or registry eligibility.
- Experience in radiology or related field.

$10,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment.
