Multi-Media Account Executive - Entry Level

About the role

We are seeking a Multi-Media Account Executive to join our team at WTEN-TV in Albany, New York. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and increase sales volume for both TV and digital revenue.
• Possess a consultative approach using a multimedia strategy to help clients grow their business.
• Prospect, qualify, close, and grow new business.
• Implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
• Establish credible relationships within the business community.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients.
• Work with clients and station personnel to develop advertising and promotional campaigns.
• Be an advocate for our products and programs.

Requirements

• Pre-employment criminal and driving background check required.
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Proficiency in popular social media and digital platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, & Outlook.
• Ability to educate customers on the variety of available TV and Digital products.

Benefits

Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000
Salary Guarantee, plus ability to earn commission.
