About the Role
This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit, responsible for the security and integrity of systems that keep our jets flying. As a critical member of the F-35 Operations Team, you will support the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), which provides the IT backbone for the F-35 Lightning II, enabling operators to plan, maintain, and sustain its systems over the life of the air vehicle.
Administrators must be willing and able to travel for military deployments/detachments for extended periods, work various shift hours (including weekends), and complete a pre-employment medical exam to ensure capability to deploy with our military customer, potentially to austere environments.
Responsibilities
- Interact daily with users to provide assistance on the ALIS product suite.
- Perform COMSEC duties, adhere to requirements, and learn CRO duties.
- Support pilots in Mission Planning/Debriefing and identify/resolve system shortfalls.
- Install and update Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) data.
- Support, administer, and monitor associated hardware/software and pilot accounts.
- Maintain smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination with peers, Tier 2, and engineers.
- Train ALIS Administrators and users on the ALIS system as needed.
- Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery of systems/databases/network equipment.
- Review processes/procedures and collect system operational data for analysis.
- Coordinate extranet equipment installations with enterprise and local communications facilities.
Requirements
- Obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access.
- Secret security clearance with investigation within the last 6 years.
- Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA) within 60 days of hire.
- IT experience in any combination of Mission Planning, system, or network administration.
- COMSEC experience.

- Precision Guided Munitions Planning Software (PGMPS) experience.
- Mission Planning Systems Support Representatives (SSR) experience.
- Personal Computer Debrief Software (PCDS) experience.
- Military Flight Operations & Planning Processes knowledge.
- Account Maintenance using Active Directory.
- Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, and network equipment.
- Virtual Machine Management (Hyper-V / VMware).
- Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components.
- Applying updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates.
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, including JSF ALIS hardware and software.

Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $85,300.00 - $158,300.00. The salary offered considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and market/work location.
