About the role
Allied Management is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for its multi-family communities in Lewisville, TX and Lake Dallas, TX. This role involves assisting the Community Manager in managing day-to-day operations, profitability, quality service, marketing, and resident relations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Community Manager in performing day-to-day duties and responsibilities for several assets.
- Implement and monitor operations, profitability, quality service, marketing, and resident relations of the properties.
- Maintain the integrity of Allied Management.
- Utilize management skills to train, motivate, and empower employees.
- Support managers in organizing, planning, and implementing strategy.
- Organize daily activities and ensure schedules and objectives are met.
- Interact with customers and learn their needs and specifications.
- Provide guidance and support to the on-site team members.
- Monitor operating costs, budgets, and resources.
- Analyze and interpret data and prepare reports on the analysis results.
- Manage recruitment process and training & development.
- Ensure adherence to company’s policies and guidelines.
- Assigned to work at one of the Multi-Family Communities each day.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar position.
- Significant experience in recruiting and performance evaluation.
- Excellent knowledge of financial and customer service principles and practices.
- Good knowledge of data analysis procedures.
- Good practical experience with MS Office.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum of two years administrative experience supporting a multi-family community.
- Bi-lingual (English – Spanish), but not required.
- Customer service-minded.
- High degree of professionalism and "can do" attitude.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Patient, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Work overtime (when needed).
- Excellent communications and listening skills.
- High level of organization and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Basic level math skills.
- Follow company policies as well as federal, state, and local laws.
- Work harmoniously with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
- Attend work on time and remain actively engaged to complete work responsibilities during assigned work hours.
