Role Overview

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician supports manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance activities that maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support continuous production. The position collaborates with maintenance and operations teams to resolve equipment issues, support equipment improvements, and promote continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and production equipment systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and light fabrication or welding projects.
  • Document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history using established maintenance processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures, support continuous improvement initiatives, and assist with spare parts inventory management.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.

Required skills and knowledge include:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Technical school training, trade certification, or related vocational education.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Experience with welding, fabrication, and maintenance-related tools and equipment.
  • Electrical certification or equivalent electrical maintenance experience.

Pay

$26.04 - $32.55. Vibrantz is committed to maintaining pay transparency in accordance with applicable laws and best practices. Compensation for this position will be determined based on a combination of factors, including education, professional certifications, relevant experience, and other job-related considerations permitted by law.
