Multi-Cloud Developer, Senior
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Multi-Cloud Developer with 5+ years of experience building software solutions in secure government cloud environments, particularly with Microsoft Azure and AWS. You will work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential risks and contribute to solution development
- Create efficient and effective systems for clients
- Use latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks/tools
- Work with development team to design and automate cloud resource provisioning
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Assist with implementing and developing Azure policies
- Manage code using Git or GitLab in a team setting
- Utilize network technologies such as DNS, load balancing, and TLS
Requirements
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with software engineering, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with software engineering
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire date
- Nice to have: Experience with Azure Landing Zones, Crossplane, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft security, Azure services, Azure Monitor, log analytics, cloud networking, Azure Virtual Desktop, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Bash, Active Directory, Group Policies, TS/SCI clearance, Azure Architect Expert Certification
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building software solutions for implementation within secure government cloud environments, including with Microsoft Azure and AWS
- 3+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Experience designing and automating the provisioning of cloud resources and Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes
- Experience assisting with implementing and developing Azure policies
- Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
Skills
- Software engineering skills

- Experience with network technologies
- Experience with Azure services
- Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux and command-line interfaces

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
