The MSP Program Billing Analyst ensures timely and accurate processing of timesheets and invoices through VMS technology, while researching and resolving provider and client inquiries in a customer-focused manner.

Responsibilities

  • Own the error-free completion of the entire weekly pay/bill cycle, including:
    • Timesheet and expense entry into the VMS tool from various sources
    • Timesheet integration processing and management of integration exceptions
    • Audit of all timesheets and expenses against client contractual billing rules
    • Invoicing customers based on their billing cycle for hours worked, travel, bonuses, and housing subsidies
    • Distribution of invoices in accordance with customer requests
  • Process all timesheet adjustments initiated by external (supplier-related) or internal (Cross Country) requests
  • Accurately and timely process all adjustments (debits and credits) initiated by external (client-related) or internal requests
  • Research and resolve billing inquiries in assigned mailboxes with a high level of customer service
  • Maintain all necessary documentation for the processing cycle, including emailed invoices and reports
  • Perform all necessary SOX and internal key controls
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
  • Understand various time entry and approval processes used by clients and their impact on payroll and billing
  • Run and analyze queries and reports for weekly processing, research, and inquiries
  • Reconcile large quantities of data using Excel
  • Build and maintain relationships with MSP Operations and client contacts
  • Engage necessary departments to support customer objectives and optimize the client experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
  • 3 years’ experience in billing, preferably in the staffing industry
  • MSP/VMS staffing industry experience is highly desired
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated analytical sense with excellent attention to detail
  • Client-facing and strong relationship-building experience
  • Proven ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Detail- and task-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Deadline-driven and able to manage conflicting priorities with flexibility
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with proficient Excel skills
