About the role

ECPI University seeks Cyber and Network Security professionals to join its faculty team. Faculty members provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience of students.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment.
• Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience of students.
• Share specific industry experience within networking, Windows 2012 and above, Linux, Cisco routers and switches, SANS/Storage administration, VMWare technologies, and VDI technologies like Citrix.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Cyber Security or Computer Information Science/Computer Science from a regionally accredited educational institution.
• CISSP, CEH, CHFI certifications highly desirable.
• 3-5 years industry experience required; 10-15 years career industry experience preferred.
• 2 years teaching or presentation experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical skills - Networking, Windows 2012 and above, Linux, Cisco routers and switches.
• SANS/Storage administration, VMWare technologies, and VDI technologies, such as Citrix, is a plus.
• Strong academic and professional record.
• Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction.

Pay

Good Faith Pay Range: $52,000-$80,080 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, skills, and other legitimate business factors.

Schedule

This position is based at our Manassas, VA campus location. Terms are five weeks long, and class sizes are small, providing a perfect environment for sharing industry experience.
