About the role

ECPI University seeks Cyber and Network Security professionals to join its faculty team. Faculty members provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience of students.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment
• Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience
• Share specific industry experience within networking, Windows 2012 and above, Linux, Cisco routers and switches, SANS/Storage administration, VMWare technologies, and VDI technologies like Citrix

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Cyber Security or Computer Information Science/Computer Science from a regionally accredited educational institution
• CISSP, CEH, CHFI certifications highly desirable
• 3-5 years industry experience required; 10-15 years career industry experience preferred
• 2 years teaching or presentation experience a plus

Qualifications

• Technical skills - Networking, Windows 2012 and above, Linux, Cisco routers and switches
• SANS/Storage administration, VMWare technologies, and VDI technologies, such as Citrix, is a plus
• Strong academic and professional record
• Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction
• Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment

Pay

Good Faith Pay Range: $52,000 - $80,080 per year. Actual compensation is determined based on qualifications, education, experience, and other legitimate business factors.

Schedule

Terms are five weeks long, with small class sizes providing a perfect environment for sharing industry experience.
