About the role

Volleyball Head Coach position available for Girls Position at Corkscrew Middle School during the FALL season.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement volleyball programs for students.
• Ensure compliance with all state and district regulations.
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
• Work closely with other school staff and community partners.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One reference letter (not applicable to current CCPS staff).
• Basic Life Support Program (First Aid, CPR and AED).
• Current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification is required.

Qualifications

• Coaches who hold current teaching certification do not need to obtain athletic coaching certification.

The Florida Department of Education issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates: 3-Year Temporary Certificate and 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate.

Who needs it: Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate. Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator's Certification.
