About the role

Assistant Coach for the Boys Volleyball team at North Naples Middle School for the Fall season.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
• 1 Reference Letter (this does not apply to current CCPS staff)
• Current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification is required. Note: Coaches who hold current teaching certification do not need to obtain athletic coaching certification.
• Basic Life Support Program (First Aid, CPR and AED)

Qualifications

The Florida Department of Education issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates:

• 3-Year Temporary Certificate — Issued only to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5-Year Certificate. It is NOT renewable.
• 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate

Who needs it: Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate, and Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator's Certification.
