MS Teacher - Health/Physical Education Teacher

The Auburn School District is seeking a Physical Education Teacher to join our team.

About the role

• Reports to the Building Administrator
• Member of the Auburn Education Association

Responsibilities

Develop and implement physical education programs that promote student health and wellness.

• Plan and conduct instructional activities that meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Physical Education or related field
• Valid teaching license in Physical Education
• Experience working with students in a K-12 setting

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Knowledge of current physical education pedagogy and best practices

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
