MS Operations - Safety Advisor

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
• Work closely with management, employees, and external agencies to minimize risks and foster a culture of safety.
• Respond to customer calls regarding significant electrical safety concerns.
• Conduct thorough safety inspections and assessments in residential settings.
• Provide detailed estimates for recommended electrical work.
• Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
• Cook with install crews to ensure timely completion of approved work.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, estimates, and customer interactions.
• Stay current with electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in electrical work, preferably in residential settings.
• Strong sales background and ability to build rapport with customers.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer locations.

Physical Requirements

• Erecting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
• Working in an office environment, occasionally outdoors, in extreme temperatures, wet/humid environments, and/or with vibration.
• Working with mechanical and chemical hazards and conditions including fumes, odors, dust, gases, and/or poor ventilation.
• Climbing, talking, crouching, standing, balancing, reaching, grasping, pulling, lifting, seeing, hearing, and operating tools and vehicles.
