About the role

Hosts and hostesses at Mexican Sugar start every guest experience by sweeping guests away to their ideal destination to unwind and escape the day-to-day. The role requires moving with purpose, achieved with fast-paced foot speed, graceful flow, and purpose in every movement.

Responsibilities

• Start every guest experience by sweeping guests away to their ideal destination to unwind and escape the day-to-day
• Move with a purpose achieved with fast-paced foot speed, graceful flow, and purpose in every movement
• Recognize VIP guests and kick off their visits by welcoming back the best of friends
• Ensure the team knows when an event like a birthday or anniversary is happening, so they can join the fiesta and make it muy especial
• Encourage team members to seek help from you by inspiring them with your skills and expertise

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of host/hostess or other relevant customer service experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Stand for long periods and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

Skills

• OpenTable experience is a plus
