About the role

The host/hostess position at Mexican Sugar is designed for individuals who can embody grace under fire, anticipating and fulfilling guest needs efficiently and confidently.

Responsibilities

• Sweep guests into an ideal destination to unwind and escape daily routines.
• Maintain a fast-paced, graceful, and purposeful movement style during interactions.
• Recognize and warmly welcome VIP guests, kicking off special occasions with enthusiasm.
• Stay attuned to notable events like birthdays and anniversaries to celebrate with gusto.
• Encourage team members to seek support by sharing your skills and expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of host/hostess or other relevant customer service experience.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with OpenTable is a plus.
