MRO Parts Coordinator

Richelieu Foods, Inc. is a leading national private-label and contract-packing food manufacturer focused on frozen pizza, with two manufacturing facilities in Illinois and Wisconsin. We supply products to national retailers, wholesalers, distributors, club and mass stores, and industrial accounts.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing & Supplier Management
  • Negotiate parts and service costs, identifying the lowest-cost alternative that meets quality requirements set by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Purchase parts and services for facility/equipment preventive maintenance and upgrades in conformance with company SOPs and policies, including quote obtainment, PO creation, and approvals.
  • Maintain strong working relationships and communications with parts suppliers and service vendors to confirm shipping/service schedules and monitor open purchase orders for on-time deliveries.
• Parts Warehousing & Inventory Management
  • Maintain the equipment master spare parts list, including on-hand target levels, and recommend changes for approval by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Maintain parts master data (descriptions, numbers, vendor cards, inventory) and revise to ensure ERP and CMMS systems are up to date.
  • Ensure all parts have an identified location, are barcoded, and movement transactions are recorded timely.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels to maximize turns and limit stockouts.
  • Follow the work order process to ensure parts are checked out from storage properly and consistently, in compliance with SOPs.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete (SLOB) parts quarterly and report to the Maintenance Manager for disposition.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories of all parts as requested by management.
• Reporting
  • Generate reports and analyze part usage to identify trends, high-turning parts, and usage patterns within the plant.
• Control-Related Responsibilities
  • Ensure all goods and services are acquired in accordance with Richelieu Foods’ purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Develop SOPs in accordance with internal controls as defined by the Corporate Controller.

Working Conditions

• Standard manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to hot/cold temperatures, moving mechanical parts, and power industrial trucks.
• 100% onsite attendance required to perform essential functions.
• Schedule is typically Monday through Saturday, 10-hour shifts.

Pay

The starting hourly rate is $25.00. This position may also be eligible for overtime pay.
