Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound procedures
  • Review patient history
  • Educate patients
  • Prepare and administer contrast/media
  • Monitor patient condition
  • Select imaging parameters
  • Ensure safety and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot equipment
  • Analyze imaging results
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide direct patient care
  • Contribute to quality control
  • Support team efforts in a fast-paced clinical environment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate from an accredited ultrasound or diagnostic medical sonography program
  • At least one year of experience
  • RDMS, RVT, or RDCS certification, or ARRT Sonography certification
  • State licensure if required
  • BLS CPR certification
