About the role
We are seeking an experienced MRI Tech responsible for interpreting physician instructions, preparing patients, and operating MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.
Responsibilities
- Performing MRI procedures with expertise on GE and Siemens equipment
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to protocols
- Participating in on-call rotations with prompt response times
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification with MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
- 2+ years of MRI experience, including outpatient, inpatient, and ED settings
- Experience with GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, and Magnetom Skyra
- Proficiency with EPIC and McKesson PACS
- Certification in BLS, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
- Covid vaccination
Schedule
- Primarily afternoon shift, Monday to Friday
- Weekend on-call responsibilities approximately once every 8 weeks with weekday off compensation
