Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and provide technical consultation to technologists involved in taking MRI images.
- Ensure the safety and operation of MRI equipment.
- Maintain Radiology files following established protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid license and current registration, issued by the New York State Department of Health, as a Radiologic Technologist in the field of diagnostic radiography.
- Three years of experience in a hospital x-ray department or a private radiological service where the primary function of the position was performing diagnostic work using radiology equipment.
- Certified and maintain current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT) in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
