MRI Technologist - RT - Mon-Thurs 1230p-9p, Fri 930a-6p

About the role

Musc MRI technologists utilize advanced MRI technology including 3T, mobile, and upright scanners. They collaborate in a patient-centric environment, supporting physicians in delivering exceptional healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations on neonates through geriatrics under physician interpretation.
• Utilize all MRI resources to ensure comprehensive coverage of the patient population.
• Collaborate in a supportive and patient-centered environment.

Requirements

• Licensure: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
• Certification: Registered with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT), if not registered must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
• Licensure: South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
• BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality-specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency in MRI equipment operation.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
