About the role

Musc MRI technologists utilize advanced MRI technology including 3T, mobile, and upright scanners. They collaborate in a patient-centric environment, supporting physicians in delivering exceptional healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations on neonates through geriatrics under physician interpretation.
• Utilize all MRI resources to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Licensure: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and ARMRIT (if applicable).
• Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality-specific work experience, with at least 1 year of X-Ray experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT), if not registered, must obtain within 1 year in this position.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
