MRI Technologist - Per Diem

About the role
The technologist is responsible for performing all MRI/MRA procedures including those utilizing injected contrast agents. The technologist selects proper technical factors and coils. The technologist must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The technologist is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform all MRI/MRA procedures
- Utilize hospital EMR and Radiology PACS with accuracy
- Assess patients to determine ability to undergo ordered procedure
- Accept additional assignments and tasks
- Provide MRI coverage including on-call duties, evenings (Mon thru Fri 17:30–24:00), weekends (07:00–24:00), with a minimum commitment of one weekend per month
- Occasionally cover day shifts for PTO coverage
- Participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday “ON-CALL” rotation
- Support the Mission and Values of Saint Francis Hospital
Requirements
- ARRT with MRI certification required or ARMRIT
- Delaware license in Radiology Technology required
- BLS required

Schedule
