MRI Technologist

Role Overview

This position is for a Radiologic Technologist specializing in MRI and CT imaging, providing high-quality patient care and imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The role involves reviewing patient histories, administering contrast media, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring optimal image quality and equipment functionality. The technologist also precepts new staff and collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures, including MRI and CT scans based on physician orders
• Safely administer contrast agents and monitor patient responses
• Ensure image clarity, quality control, and proper equipment operation
• Educate patients and respond to their needs during procedures
• Contribute to safety, quality, and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Registered as RT and MRI Technologist or registry eligible with ARRT or ARMRIT
• State licensure if required
• BLS certification
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent patient care abilities
