MRI Technologist - Per Diem

About the role

Performs MRI examinations on patients utilizing specialized x-ray and computer systems.

Delivers quality care commensurate with the age of the patient population for the designated area.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes specialized x-ray and computer systems for MRI examinations.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
• Communicates effectively with patients and staff regarding examination procedures.
• Adheres to departmental protocols and standards.

Requirements

• HS/equivalent graduate required.
• Successful graduate from an AMA approved Radiology program.
• Registered by ARRT, MRI certification required within 1yr.
• BLS required.
• Previous MRI experience required.

Qualifications

• HS/equivalent graduate required.
• Successfully completed an AMA approved Radiology program.
• Registered by ARRT, MRI certification required within one year.
• Current BLS certification required.
• At least one year of previous MRI experience.

Skills

• Proficiency with MRI equipment and systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.

Pay

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Rotating shift with one weekend a month (Saturday and Sunday) as per department needs.
