MRI Technologist - Part Time - Day Shift

About the Role

Full-time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist working day shifts, performing diagnostic imaging procedures primarily in MRI. Responsibilities include patient preparation, equipment setup, and independent operation of studies. The role involves overseeing shift workflows, troubleshooting, mentoring staff and students, and serving as a clinical resource and liaison.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Perform studies independently and assist with complex exams.
• Manage shift operations, workflow, and priorities.
• Serve as a clinical resource, problem-solve, and mentor staff.
• Communicate effectively between team and supervisor.
• Maintain supplies and ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform exams in various settings and manage quality control.

Requirements

• Associate degree or trade school equivalency.
• Valid certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR.
• ARRT certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience (5-10 years preferred).

Qualifications

• Licenses such as IEMA, RTR, CT, MR, and CPR are advantageous.
